Education Policy

The Arkansas Education Association (AEA), led by President Brenda Robinson and a team of AEA educators, continues to work on successfully implementing the Every Student Succeeds Act in our state. So far, leaders like April Reisma in Benton, have been helping local educators grasp the real impact teachers’ voices can have at the district level to support student success. Thanks to ESSA, educators have an opportunity to remove punitive testing from school accountability and really focus on addressing the opportunity gaps facing some of our schools and students.
