AEA Tax-Deferred Annuities
TDA's represent an excellent means for public school employees to achieve their financial and/or retirement goals. AEA Critical Illness/Dread Disease
Members can choose from an insurance policy or a medical reimbursement plan. The insurance policy provides coverage whether or not you have medical insurance.

The Cancer Medical Reimbursement Plan requires the member to have medical insurance and simply stated, pays what your medical insurance doesn't. CMRP rates are standard and annual at $46.00 for individual and $52.00 for family coverage.

AEA Section 125 "Cafeteria" Plans
Internal Revenue Code Section 125 "Cafeteria" plans
(also called Flexible Benefit plans) allow participating school employees to save on taxes.
