Educator Employment Liability (EEL) Program
This program provides liability protection for members engaged in certain educational employment activities. Coverage for members includes civil liability up to $1 million per member and $300,000 per member for civil rights issues; criminal proceedings in an amount up to $35,000 per proceeding; bail bond in an amount up to $1,000 per bond; and assault-related personal property damage in an amount up to $500 per assault. (Not included in early enrollment savings discounts.

NEA Programs
NEA Educators Employment Liability Program: Provides professional liability insurance for members if they are sued as a result of their work for their employing school districts.
NEA Attorney Referral Program (ARP): Provides legal services for members’ personal legal problems. ARP is available only through participating affiliates. There are currently 41 participating affiliates.

AEA/NEA Tax-Deferred Annuities TDA's represent an excellent means for public school employees to achieve their financial and/or retirement goals. AEA Critical Illness/Dread Disease Members can choose from an insurance policy or a medical reimbursement plan. The insurance policy provides coverage whether or not you have medical insurance.
The Cancer Medical Reimbursement Plan requires the member to have medical insurance and simply stated, pays what your medical insurance doesn't. CMRP rates are standard and annual at $46.00 for individual and $52.00 for family coverage.
